The collapsing US military & economic empire is making Washington & NATO even more dangerous. US could not beat the Taliban but thinks it can take on China-Russia-Iran...a sign of psychopathology for sure. We must all do more to help stop this western corporate arrogance that puts the future generations lives in despair. @BruceKGagnon

CRABS FULL OF OIL

Who could be surprised by this story? But still the corporations who have the government in lock-down make sure they keep the scientists away from the evidence that BP's toxic oil disaster is indeed killing wildlife. Something BP wants to deny.

BP is playing the jobs card here the same as they do on the Gulf. They're wanting to re-open "extraction" of the oil shale beds near Guffey and Florissant CO.. Park County... near the non-fiction town of Southpark. To do it they'll be basically mining the oil, taking rocks, crushing them and boiling the oil out. Using the really scarce water resources, every drop of which is claimed by people as far east as the Mississippi and all the way to the West Coast, Brownsville, and Mexico. The watersheds from here flow to everyplace lower than here, which means, everyplace in the Western two thirds of the United States. Which was why the Shale Oil enterprises were shut down before they could even get started back in 1974. We've got at least 8 candidates on the ballot who say that cost Colorado jobs.

They neglect to mention the jobs which will be destroyed when the ecosystem is destroyed, when more water than is actually available is used for cooking the shale, and the runoff from it is going to be Toxic. BP and Exxon-Mobil are the biggest contractors wanting to do this. The ones who say their little Ooopsie Moments aren't destroying every non-Oil job in the gulf either, the ones Sarah Palin "Stood up to" in Alaska, the ones who the Government of Alaska "negotiated a tough settlement" with over Exxon Valdez, real tough, about a penny on the dollar worth of tough.
Spill, baby, Spill.
The same kind of "Tough Negotiations" that Tancredo, or Maes, perhaps, would do. Maybe have an bankrupt and imprisoned for live ex-Exxon employee held responsible for the rest of the money. Real tough... tough on the Non-Oil Corporation workers who will be displayed by such a disaster. Speculative? Until late this spring the Oil Spill in the gulf from Deepwater drilling was "speculation". Nothing to see, citizens, keep moving, nothing to see...

11 workers died there, but you wouldn't know about it to hear the BP front office or their Media Mouthpieces like Simple Sarah and Rush Limbaugh tell the story.
They don't even care about their OWN employees, why would they care about workers who they don't "own"?
